Project Overview
This is the site you're looking at right now. We built Ruana Soul Studio's own marketing site as a live demonstration of what we do best: scroll-driven storytelling, performance-first engineering, and design that earns trust fast. The project served as a proving ground for our own process — treating ourselves as a client with the highest possible standards.
The Challenge
Most agency websites are either a visual playground with no conversion strategy, or a template site with no personality. We needed to build something that was genuinely beautiful, technically excellent, and moved visitors toward a clear next step.
Our Solution
We used Astro for static generation with zero JavaScript overhead by default. GSAP powers the scroll storytelling and cinematic entrance animations. The design system uses custom typography, a refined color palette, and a layout grid that balances information density with breathing room. Every section is a considered argument for working with us.
The Outcome
The site achieves a perfect Lighthouse score. Page load under 1 second. The contact form converts at above-industry-average rates. It ranks on page one for our primary search terms in Melbourne.
